Emergency Estate Planning for Medical Professionals

Alberta's medical professionals are at the front lines of the most severe and dangerous health care crisis in the history of Alberta. The Covid-19 virus is deadly, and our medical professionals are standing in the line of fire to protect us.

At the same time, recent government decisions mean our health care providers are putting their lives on the line not sure how much they are going to be paid, or accepting less payment in order to provide that service in the safest way possible.

As of April 1, 2020, out of gratitude to our medical professionals, and in the hopes of filling an important need, Round Table Law is offering basic estate planning services at a discount for medical professionals in Alberta.

Estate Planning services include a Will, Enduring Power of Attorney, and Personal Directive for you, or both you and your spouse if either of you are active medical professionals working in Alberta during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The cost for medical professionals is half the usual fee.

Because of accommodations that have been made by the Law Society of Alberta to facilitate social distancing, it is now possible to provide these services entirely online and over video conference. And the meetings are on your schedule, not ours. If you work shifts, so can we. You will be provided with the legal documents and detailed written instructions on how to sign them so as to ensure that they are legally valid under Alberta law.

If you would like to get started, please follow the links above, which will take you to our automated client intake tool, after which you will be able to book an appointment to meet with us (online, of course) as soon as is convenient for you.
